This painting was inspired by a photo of my youngest daughter.

I had been following her with my camera, watching her with her little net, searching in the rock pools on Amroth Sands, South Wales. She was having no success at all.

As she came close to tiring of the chase I caught one of those 'moments' and many years later, sought to capture a little of its magic in my art.
